The Rectory has two, fully insured Angling Trust accredited fishing coaches who can be hired individually or together for larger groups, by the day or by the hour.
Both Louis and Seth have been anglers for decades, fly fishing for salmon and trout, coarse fishing and sea angling. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced angler, they would be happy to show you The Rectory and the best techniques to catch the wide variety of species in this special part of the Wye.

Louis has spent nearly his whole working life on the Wye and there will be few people who know the river and its tributaries better. He has been fishing for over 50 years and is an accomplished salmon, trout, coarse and sea angler.

Seth started his river fishing as a youngster, catching chub from his local river Lugg (Wye tributary). His specialty these days is trout fishing on the Wye and the neighbouring Usk. He also has a passion for seeking out wild brown trout from small Welsh mountain streams.
